This project was completed as part of the MSBA’s Accelerated Repair Program. The school’s existing 30 year old windows were replaced with 20,000 sqft of new thermally broken aluminum windows with energy efficient glazing. The existing exterior doors and frames of the school were also replaced with new aluminum frames and doors. Additionally 8 octagonal windows were re-glazed, and a boarded up clerestory in the gymnasium was replaced with a new energy efficient glazing system. 1,100 sqft of skylights were infilled with a new EPDM membrane roofing system.

This project was completed as part of the MSBA’s Accelerated Repair Program. Seals on the original windows and curtain walls had failed, and areas of existing plexiglass had become clouded. The old single glazed system was replaced with new thermally broken window, storefront, and curtain wall systems, totaling 9,000 sqft of opening replacement.

This project was a renovation to an existing laboratory located on Nantucket and owned by Boston University. The project reorganizes the existing space and enlarged the toilet room, for code compliance, while maintaining the existing footprint. Existing wood siding, windows, and framing had begun to rot in areas along the exterior of the building and required replacement.

The building is located within the Nantucket Historic District and required coordination with the local preservation society when choosing new materials for the exterior repairs, that would be both appropriate and durable.
