This project consists of renovation of existing student laboratory space to accommodate a new Biotech program. The biotech laboratory was designed to accommodate 12 students and 1 faculty member, new lab equipment, casework and shelving as well as an overhead projector and screen.
Design and Rendering to facilitate the public process for a proposed new building at the UMASS Dartmouth Marine Campus in New Bedford. Civitects evaluated and photographed the site; developed a program and preliminary design for the building; and rendered the site and building.
Additions to the school cafeteria (“Mess Deck”) reach toward Buzzards Bay and the Cape Cod Canal. Design elements, including the masonry, sunshades, and tinted glass, tie in with other buildings on campus, old and new. The new vestibule reflects an earlier addition by CIVITECTS on the northeastern side of the building.
This project consists of a storage addition to the MMA Dining Hall Building. The addition enclosed existing dock space for a new walk-in freezer and lower level storage area. The design extends the elevation language established by the 2004 addition to the building also done by Civitects.
This project expanded the existing kitchen area associated with the area in order to allow the installation of a new dishwasher and cold storage unit. The serving and dining areas were reorganized to both improve circulation through within the space and increase available seating.
